Instructions are given for making a sock from the toe up which gives you flexibility in the finished size both in circumference and length. Suggested yarn is either DK or sport weight and takes approximately 300 yards for a pair of socks to fit a woman's foot up to size 9 shoe. From the Blackberry Ridge yarns, we suggest the Kaleidoscope yarns (2 skeins 2-oz each will do) or the Mer-Made DK weight (2 skeins 4 oz each to be on the safe side).
