The Danish Nattrojer Pattern by Beth Brown-Reinsel Skill Level: Intermediate Gauge: 7 sts = 1" without modification The Nattrojer was a common article of clothing for Danish women in the 1800's. They were constructed with welts, flat pieces knitted back and forth and then joined together at the ends, instead of ribbing at the bottom. The pattern gives instructions for chest circumferences of 33.25", 41.5", 49.75", or 58", and includes guidelines for altering those sizes by modifying the gauge. These sizes call for 1475, 1725, 1975 and 2225 yards of a sport or fingering weight yarn. We have sport weight yarn here, and fingering weight yarn here. This pattern is 40% off while supplies last. |
