The pattern has instructions for Adult and Children's sizes.

We recommend using Blackberry Ridge's medium weight 100% Wool from the Natural Colors or the Traditional Colors. One 4 ounce skein (or about 220 yards) of either of these will be required, plus a small amount of contrast color for embellishments. Also, our medium weight 25% Mohair/75% Wool yarn can be used -- one skein will be enough. One set of size 10 double pointed needles is used for larger sizes.

For the smaller sizes (toddlers), 175 yards of sport weight yarn and one set of size 7 double pointed needles are recommended.
