The classic watch cap was worn by sailors on the ocean. This version is felted, making it naturally windproof and water repellent. It requires 330 yards of pure wool yarn worsted weight yarn, or a blend that still felts well.  We recommend our pure wool Traditional Colors in medium weight or our Mohair Blends and Mohair Mist.
