Shaped with a dropped shoulder and a wide neck, this would be a good sweater for layering. The pattern is a simple slip stitch using only one color on any given row for easy knitting but making a firm fabric.  The pattern is written for chest sizes 45" to 54" and calls for medium weight yarn.
