Skills Level: Intermediate Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch Made lengthwise, this pattern offers three different designs from which to choose, all with a center "scrunch" area to help fit around the neck. The top scarf is a simple lace pattern, the center scarf is a yarnover pattern used to make enlarged stitches, and the bottom scarf is a simple block pattern using knits and purls. The finished size of the scarves can be adjusted by blocking, but they are generally about 5 - 6 inches wide and 48 inches long.
