Knitting Skills: Intermediate, Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch

This pattern combines quilting with knitting, and has instructions for both portions, as well as assembly. Although the sample is made using cotton yarn, any yarn that knits at 5 sts/inch will work well. We recommend Blackberry Ridge medium weight yarn, either 100% Wool Traditional Colors or 25% Mohair/75% Wool blend Mohair Blend yarn. The pattern has instructions for chest sizes 40", 44" and 48". The knitting portion takes 2(3,3) 4 oz. skeins.
